Learning to Build A Strong Mindset Through the Words "Live Yes, And"

This August, the Sport & Entertainment Business Association proudly hosted Travis Thomas for an interactive workshop related to developing leadership and positive mindset habits. A native Michigander, Travis attributes a great deal of his perspective from his extensive experience in improvisation. In life, much like improvisation, one never truly knows nor can control what will happen next. Travis taught our group that instead of using our time and energy trying to control what happens to us, we must be ready to accept what is thrown our way and control how we respond to it. This is a main principle in his book and motto, “Live Yes, And!”.
